Renters and people requesting moving quotes

Searching, calculators, guides and moving-quote requests never require identity documents. We ask only for an email to create an account, plus the move details you enter. We do not take rental applications, application fees or ID.

When your contact details are shared

Removalists see your move details (suburbs, date, size) but not your name, email, phone or exact addresses. Those are revealed to one removalist only when you press "share my contact details" for that removalist's quote. You can withdraw this, though a business that has already seen your details may retain them.

Landlord ownership evidence

Private landlords upload a document showing authority to lease the property. It is stored privately and viewed only by our administrators to make a verification decision. The file is automatically deleted 30 days after a decision, or 90 days after upload if it was never reviewed. We keep the decision record (approved or rejected, and the date), not the document.

Listing photos

Photos of a listing are private until the listing is approved and live. When a listing is removed, photo links stop working within about 10 minutes.

Emails

We send account and transaction emails (enquiries, quotes, listing decisions). Rental alerts are optional and every alert email includes an unsubscribe link.
